paperTHINKtank offers pulp beating to Philadelphia local paper maker and artists.

We stock the following fibers that can be ordered in 1 lb. increments (dry weight), with or without sizing:

• Abaca, bleached or unbleached, 1 hr to 8 hr

• Cotton Linters, 30 min. & beyond

• Flax fiber, 1 hr to 4 hr

• Thai Kozo

• Philly Kozo (seasonally available)

• Japanese Gampi

Additionally you can provide your own bucket and lid, provide your own dry fiber (you pay only $20/hr beating fee); or request a fiber that hasn’t been tested in the Valley beater yet.
